Research and Analysis Project

Share Registration Conglomerate

Our client is a private equity backed organisation offering share registration, retail investor, employee benefits and outsourcing provision of payroll services.

Purpose of the project

Following growth by acquisition, the Group formed a central HR function. A shared service model was the ultimate aim, with the services provided to the business being re-charged to each business unit. In order to ensure the success of such a model, the HR team were keen to obtain feedback from the business about both the current HR offering and their future requirements. It is important that this exercise provided key stakeholders with the opportunity to disclose their honest opinion, and therefore, as an independent consultancy, we supported the HR team with this phase of the project.

How Jarred Consulting helped

  • We ran a series of stakeholder interviews with senior directors of the business, in order to gather feedback on the desired future state of HR services for the group
  • A detailed written report summarised the findings, key themes and recommended action / priorities arising from the stakeholder engagement phase.
  • Based on the findings, we facilitated a ‘play-back’ session for the stakeholder group who contributed to the exercise.
  • We then ran a workshop for the HR Business Partners in order to feedback the outcomes of the research, including themes and agreed priorities. This workshop also provided the opportunity to discuss challenges arising from the feedback and plan a cohesive way forward.
