This leading international law firm advises client across their five key sectors: asset management and investment funds, energy and infrastructure, financial institutions, life sciences and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT).

Purpose of the project

To drive organisational output and capability through a globally consistent approach to performance management. The aim was to streamline the approach, ensuring the language was straightforward and the process transparent.

How Jarred Consulting helped

Working closely with the new Global Head of HR and Head of Reward we:

  • Consulted with the business on what was working and not working with the current process to help define what the future approach should look like.
  • Established the need for the emphasis to shift to quality conversations, with less paperwork and focus on the annual review, and designed the new approach to support this.
  • Ensured the approach was aligned to the objectives of the business, by clustering the existing competencies according to the business’ strategic objectives.
  • Updated all materials and systems and design and assisted the internal teams in training, coaching and supporting the line managers and employees to ensure a successful embedding of the performance management approach.
