Sally is an experienced Senior HR Consultant, Interim and Executive Coach with a background in HR leadership roles in Professional Services, spanning both operational and strategic delivery. Before setting up her own consulting and coaching business she had a career spanning over 20 years as Director of HR & Development for City Law firm, RPC. During that time she built a multi award winning HR Team which supported the firm’s growth in profitability and market reputation as an employer of choice. Prior to RPC Sally had HR roles in engineering and local government.
Sally is able to take on a diverse range of HR assignments and change projects and loves to work with organisations and leaders who are at significant transition points. For organisations this may be working with them to re-fresh their people strategy, to build buy in for significant change or to design and implement an HR infrastructure which is aligned to values and business strategy.
Sally also has a wealth of experience in the whole spectrum of Talent Management, from attraction strategy to recruitment and selection through to career development. She can help clients to turn around a failing performance management approach or design policies which not only protect a firm from employment risks but underpin desired culture and behaviours. She also loves to roll up her sleeves in sensitive Employee Relations matters.
Sally has extensive personal leadership experience having gained a reputation for building high performing and deeply engaged teams.
Sally connects her broad and deep HR and business experience with an ability to quickly establish trust, listen deeply and hone in on the issues which go to the heart of a problem or opportunity.
In her coaching work she demonstrates her incorrigible belief in the potential of others to adapt, grow and find deep connections and she loves to push boundaries and encourage explorations which stimulate innovation and positive change.
Recent assignments include a spell as Interim Head of HR Business Partnering for a Global Law Firm, a sensitive Partner investigation and coaching the leaders of a charity.
Sally is a keen golfer and tennis player and undertakes a number of voluntary coaching and mentoring roles.
