Kathy has over 20 years experience within the entry level talent market place, specialising in graduate recruitment and development. Her experience lies mainly in the financial services industry.
Her consulting portfolio includes project managing three separate recruitment drives for The Royal Bank of Scotland within the Corporate Banking division, for regional relationship managers, school leavers and graduate/second jobbers fast track development programmes. In addition to undertaking projects within the financial services sector, she has had involvement at different stages of the recruitment process, within the legal sector, utilities industry, telecommunications, marketing and management consulting. She has also implemented a new recruitment process to ensure quality recruitment of windscreen technicians into the 100+ branches of Autoglass across the UK.
Kathy’s particular expertise lies in project management and the implementation of recruitment programmes and the design and implementation of graduate development programmes.
She has experience in the graduate coaching and assessment arena, including delivery of training for best practice interview, assessment centre and assessor skills, in addition to facilitating assessment and development centres.
Kathy has also been involved in designing and delivering a year-long national mentoring programme for 60 practising solicitors who fall within four of the under-represented groups at the top of the legal profession.
Her most recent in-house role was Graduate Recruitment Manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland. This involved co-ordinating the end-to-end graduate recruitment activities across twelve different business areas and maintaining campus liaison with universities across the UK.
Kathy was responsible for recruitment across the finance function at The Royal Bank of Scotland for 4 years. This included designing and delivering recruitment campaigns to match business requirements in addition to managing internal recruitment and development campaigns during the take-over of NatWest. During this time she also created and developed a rotational graduate programme across the different areas of Finance and achieved the Quality Partner Award from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Prior to this Kathy was a project manager for NatWest Consultancy where she was involved in recruitment and development of graduate entrants in addition to managing cross functional teams to deliver business objectives.
